Literature Text

It takes a single rose
To dry up a single tear,
But it takes a rose garden,
To wash away all my sorrows
This has a lot of meanings behind it. I wrote this VERY simple and short thing while talking to my cousin about her problems. She is in a relationship with this guy whom she doesn't love but who will become suicidal if she leaves. I told her this means the kind of feelings she has for him and he has for her can only give them so much comfort. They need to both be given the chance to find their rose garden. Then there is the obvious literal meaning, and there are a few other things I was feeling when I wrote this . . .
